Michael Dempster invented the Galactic Context Model. This retired science teacher was born in England but now calls Washington State home, where he lives with his wife and a couple of dogs. When he's not inventing, he's out boating, playing his guitar, or building cool stuff.
Intrigued by trying to grasp as fully as possible a sense of place, maps and globes have always captivated him. Carl Sagan inspired him to try to cultivate in himself and his students a deeper sense of personal participation in the the big picture of our place in the universe. That’s exactly what the Galactic Context Model delivers.
